Shakara Nuress, known to some as “Grandmother”, was a colonel and commander of the 204th Imperial Fighter Wing (also known as Shadow Wing).
Nuress served in the Clone Wars with the Republic Navy before the Galactic Empire came into power. Don’t let the “grandmother” nickname fool you. Nuress was a force to be reckoned with. She appeared in the comics series TIE Fighter and the book Alphabet Squadron.
