Brigitte Kahn played Rebel communication officer Toryn Farr in The Empire Strikes Back.
Toryn Farr has the only line spoken by a woman, except for Leia, in ESB – “Stand by ion control. Fire.”
The Rebel base in Hoth in The Empire Strikes Back had several visible women in the background. This was a striking contrast to the Rebel Base in Yavin seen at the end of The New Hope which had no women visible except, once again, for Leia.
Kahn also appeared in the TV series Unfinished Business, East Enders, and the film The Remains of the Day.
