Micheline Chau was the president of Lucasfilm from 2003 to 2012. Before that Chau was the Chief Financial Officer at Lucasfilm from 1991 to 2003.
To put it in perspective Chau was president of Lucasfilm near the end of the making of the prequel trilogy and her departure coincided with the Disney purchase of Lucasfilm. While she was president Chau oversaw all Lucasfilm projects, most notably the development of the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
“I’ve spent the past two decades at Lucasfilm growing the business and in the process have had the distinct pleasure of working with some of the most creative people in the world,” Chau said in a statement. “I’m very proud of what Lucasfilm has accomplished during my tenure and I know the company is set up for great things and will continue to inspire audiences for a long time to come.”
