Renée Ahdieh wrote the short story “The Luckless Rodian” in the A New Hope anthology From a Certain Point of View.
“The Luckless Rodian” tells the tale of bounty hunter Greedo and smuggler Han Solo’s final encounter in the Mos Eisley cantina from Greedo’s point of view. And yes, in this version Han shoots first.
Ahdieh is also the author of the book series The Beautiful, Flame in the Mist, and The Wrath of the Dawn.
