Shodu Warrick was the mother of Wicket and three other Ewoks. She debuted in the Ewok TV movies and also made appearances in the show Star Wars: Ewoks and several children’s books.
According to her original Star Wars Databank entry, Shodu was a skilled herbalist. This skill came in handy when her husband Deej became ill. She nursed him back to health and was also able to help break Cindal’s fever in Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure. Her children were Wicket, Winda, Weechee, and Willy.
Shodu also appeared in the TV movie Ewoks: The Battle for Endor and in several episodes of Star Wars: Ewoks including this story below “A Gift for Shodu.”
Shodu shows up in several Ewok children’s book including How the Ewoks Saved the Trees: An Old Ewok Legend, Wicket Goes Fishing: An Ewok Adventure, Fuzzy as an Ewok, and The Ewok Who Was Afraid: An Ewok Adventure.
