The Phantom Menace may have received mixed reviews from fans but Lee’s poster was universally praised. It remains one of the most recognizable and beloved images from any Star Wars marketing campaign.

Almost 20 years after the debut of this poster writer Charles Soule and artist Giuseppe Camuncoli paid tribute to it in the comic Darth Vader: Dark Lord of the Sith #25.
